Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

Components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to give them a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot for them; the item upgrader kit must have been at the very least upgraded to blue level to allow a component to be used.
