Item upgrades are upgrade elements that can be slotted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an added benefit. They usually have more cost and require that the item be at an appropriate level.

Items that have very high requirements generally don't see much value in being upgraded. This is especially the case for items like the eth Titans, which don't have much variation.

Glyphs

When you reach the 50th level, Blizzard’s action-RPG moves from its simple campaign to the final game. This is when things really begin to change, with players pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds that ensure their character's build is as strong as possible.

Glyphs are an essential component to this progression. Increasing a Glyph's upgrade level buffs its stat attributes and its radius of impact on the Paragon Board. There are a variety of ways to get these upgrades, but the most common is by raiding Faction Crypts.

Glyphs allows you to add symbols to your text. You can select them from the menu at the left side of the screen. The panel initially displays glyphs in the font in which your cursor is located however, you can also view a different font or type style, and you can reduce the number of glyphs to a subset by choosing an option from the options below the Entire Font (for example, Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). When you hover your mouse over a glyph, you can view its CID/GID as well as Unicode value in a tool tip.

Once you've inserted several glyphs, the Glyphs panel will keep the track of the last 35 distinct ones you've used and display them under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel to see all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by clicking it using the right-click option or Control-click, and then selecting Remove From Recent Glyphs.

The Glyphs Panel also allows you to create a custom set of glyphs, which is useful if often require typing certain text types. This will help you avoid needing to manually insert each glyph when you need it.

A custom glyph set can include up to 31 glyphs, including both the base name and its suffix. The glyphs in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) and lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9), and underscore (_). The suffix can also include ligatures or contextual alternatives. These are special variations which combine two or more letters into one glyph.

Reroll Tokens

Upgrades are the primary mechanic that offers bonuses to items, including extra stats. They come in different kinds: reroll levels up, recycle and reroll. Each type comes with a distinct bonus for the item.

Reroll Tokens can be used to alter an item upgrader kit's base stats and upgrade item number. They can also be used to reroll substats in rings. This can be useful if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than a player desires, or if the item's current substats aren't ideal.

Rerolling is a cost of 1 token, and will reset the item's upgrades but will leave the rarity, set and level unaltered. When an item is leveled up, its tier will increase. The primary stat of the item is boosted by 3 points for each tier. An additional stat is also boosted with it. Leveling an item to its max possible level increases its tier by 1.

The Blueprint Desk allows players to buy new Appliances, Ingredients and decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are available at the start of each Preparation Phase. They appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing the Grab. Each blueprint has a unique icon, with each category of upgradable Best item Upgrade displaying various icons:

Some recipes require the use of certain Appliances or Ingredients, and these are available by selecting the Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered staple and will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a higher likelihood of appearing if a certain Franchise Card is chosen from the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all the items will be for the duration of the game. Similarly, non-staple Equipment is transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.

Recycled Items

The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. You can help the environment by recycling a product made from recycled material. This is because the majority of products that are recycled are returned to their manufacturer who originally made the item to be remanufactured into a new product. This is what we refer to as "closing the recycling loop."

Leveling
